Found this game through mmorpg.com

Just wondering if there was anyone else that found SideQuest through their game list.

PS: Game looks real fun, can't wait to see more !
Heya, just a small update..

We are currently working on the final chapter and dungeon.
We are hoping to be able to release the game in 3 to 4 months.

If you're wondering why such a simple game takes so darn long to finish, the answer is that unlike a lot of browser games you see out there were the game play is pretty much the exact same throughout the whole game, SideQuest features a host of unique quests, bosses and content.

After grinding through a few stages you can take a break and raft down a monster infested river, use magical coral to dispel illusions, or search for treasure hidden deep in ancient temples.

Further, the bosses of SideQuest are not just bigger enemies with more health. Each fight has it's own special gimmick which forces the player to not only play hard, but also play smart.

Are you still looking to release the beta in June/July?

The lack of success from the Kickstarters are keeping things moving rather slowly. However, we certainly are winding down.

We're currently working on brushing up the UI and some of the systems. Then we'll give Chapter 1 one last polish before releasing an open alpha. Hopefully this will be sometime in July.

The Alpha will serve some wide-spread bug testing, and allow us some feedback on the game. Unfortunately, you will only have access to the first chapter during the Alpha.

Ideally, a month or so after the Alpha (so, sometime in August) we'll be able to finish up the rest of the chapters (They're mostly done, we just need to brush some stuff up). At which point we'll go ahead and release an Open Beta version of the game.

The Open Beta will serve as more bug testing, and also help us get a sense of how much load the servers will be able to handle. Once we're comfortable with the stability of the game, we'll go ahead and release the full version.

Hopefully, the full release will be sometime in September!
