If you took the most stereotypical nerdy magician possible and then give him glasses and a name that is too long to remember (or are those things redundant?), you would get Khyberistarian. And please, call him "Khy" from here on out; all the rest of us do! Young Khy has read every book of magic he has been able to get his hands on, but lacks both practical experience and common sense. Nevertheless, his studies led him to conclude that a terrible danger is facing the world, and to seek out and join with Caerwyn on her quest. With the incredible mystical skills at his fingertips, Khy is as powerful as he is pedantic.
